A liquid film forming skin protectant that helps protect intact or damaged skin from irritation caused by incontinence and trauma caused by attachment or removal of appliances and pressure treatments.
No-rinse, one-step cleansing for perineum and body saves time. Gentle surfactants aid in removal of urine, feces, or other foreign material. Non-irritating. Contains an antimicrobial agent to reduce odor. Conditions and moisturizes skin. pH balanced to protect the skin's acid mantle.
An amorphous hydrogel creates a moist wound environment and is non-cytotoxic. The polymer used is water swellable allowing it to absorb exudate yet remain gel-like until saturated. This allows to remain on the wound longer than gels using water-miscible (soluble) polymers.
Contains 98% petrolatum. For treatment and prevention of rash associated with diaper use or exposure to urine and feces. Helps seal out wetness. Clove oil helps mask odor. Vitamins A and E sooth and condition sensitive skin.
Comprised of a wound contact layer and four bandages, has been specifically designed for the management of venous leg ulcers. Designed to maintain effective levels of compression after application. May be left in place for up to one week. More frequent changes may be necessary especially in the first few weeks of management when the ulcers may be draining heavily. Contains everything necessary for the application of graduated compression therapy. May reduce preparation time, simplifies stock control and ensures the correct components are always available.
A one-step island dressing that helps prevent site contamination and avoids the multiple steps of building a gauze and tape dressing. This water-resistant, non-woven polyester dressing helps reduce the potential of moisture contamination and the strike-through effect. Conformable and very gentle on the skin.
Indicated for the management of exuding, granulating wounds on the sacrum by secondary intent. Prepare and clean the skin surrounding the wound by removing excess moisture. Start to remove the protector material and anchor the adhesive side of the dressing to the skin. When positioning the dressing, place the narrow end of the dressing a minimum of ¾" above the anal sphincter, then remove any remaining protector material and smooth the dressing over the sacrum. The dressing should not be used with oxidizing agents such as hypochlorite solutions or hydrogen peroxide, as these can break down the absorbent polyurethane component of the dressings.
Contains 2% miconazole nitrate. For treatment of superficial fungal infections, including jock itch (tines cruris), ringworm (tinea corporis), athlete's foot (tinea pedis). Relieves burning, itching, scaling, cracking, chafing, and redness associated with these conditions. Contains vitamin E and skin conditioners. Contains zinc oxide to protect skin from exposure to urine and feces. Contains karaya to control moisture and adhere to weepy, macerated skin. Pediatrician tested for safety.
